These replace the black and red switches found in the handle assemblies of many models from the second half of the 1970's. Over time vibration, moisture and use can cause them to fail.
Note: The original switches were specially produced without the middle terminal. When installing these switches in Gilson snowblower applications ignore the middle terminal and connect per your original wiring diagram in the normally closed configuration.

This switch replaces the 1 wire safety key switch shown on the left. The original switch # 33338 (LawnBoy/Toro # 742404) has been discontinued and the original component does not seem to be available. This switch was used on models built starting in the 1970's. This replacement switch is a drop-in replacement with the exception of the wire terminal. A replacement terminal is included which you will need to crimp onto your harness wire.
